You need to make a folder or create a folder for storing your files properly. How do you do this? The video below will show you the basics that you need to know to get started.
Folders can help you find files. By separating out other files that you are not looking for in your search, you can find that file that you are looking for faster and easier.
If you just stored all your files in one folder, all 200 of them for example, you would have a mess. This would be just like throwing all the family's clothes into one closet and expecting to have everyone dressed and out the door quickly. This is not going to happen. Yet many of us run our computers this way. We have to search and search till we find what we are looking for.
To make life easier, separate your files into separate folders. Put all your electrical bills into a folder called "Electrical Bills", and put all the car files into a folder called "Automobile" for example. This will help you find the files faster. An organized computer will help you work faster and more effectively. I can not say this enough. Every time you can not find a file and have to do extra searching, it wastes time. So give some thought as to how you will set up your folders.
