Jeff Brown - Computer Training For Seniors

Many Seniors are at risk today because they are using their computers without the proper knowledge to stay safe. Whether it's:

• an unsecured wireless router,
• unsafe Internet surfing and Email practices,
• or old computer equipment passed down to them from their children;

Seniors need computer training to be safe.

Fortunately more and more Seniors are learning how to use their computers safely. They are learning how to keep in touch with their grandchildren and their family members by using the Internet and E-mail.  Computer training is helping Seniors live better connected lives.

As a computer trainer, I have had the honor and privilege of helping many Seniors learn how to use their computers.  It's very new to many of them; but they are learning the computer skills they need to be safe and productive.

I love helping Seniors understand how the computer can make a difference in their daily lives. It could be as simple as learning:

• how to download camera pictures and send those photos to family members,
• how to use the Internet and Email safely,
• how to save a file to their computer hard drive.

Computer training can help Seniors connect to family members and friends near and far away.
