What is Foursquare?

Foursqaure is a location based mobile application for your smart phone that lets you tell others where you are at. You can check in to different businesses and events, and much more. Individuals get badges for check ins and the top person that frequents the place the most, gets to be Mayor of that place. For some, it's like a game.

Benefit for business:

Businesses can advertise to customers for free and offer them specials to draw them into their place of business. When I went into a Mall a short time ago, I saw a 15% off discount just for smart phone users. This makes you want to drop in and get the discount. Foursquare can help bring more traffic to your business.
