Information For Buying A Computer
Computers are becoming more common place these days as more people go out and buy them. Many homes have more than one TV and this is beginning to apply to computers as well. So if you are going to buy a computer, what should you be looking for?
The question that should usually be asked of customers before they buy a computer is this: "What are you going to do with it?" That great deal in the flyer may not be the computer you need at all. Do not go and buy a computer by price alone. Let me give you something to think about before you buy a computer.
If you are going to be using and making videos for example, or if you are working with a lot of pictures, you will need a computer with lots of memory (memory is also called RAM) and a good size hard drive. (Memory and hard drive are explained in more detail in the Computer Parts page of this web site.) You can think of computer memory as the place where your computer programs and files work and the hard drive as the place where you will store all the programs and files.
I received a call from a lady in Texas a little while ago and we talked about what computer her child should have. See wanted to know about the Alpha Computer. I mentioned that her particular needs might be best served by checking into a mini laptop such as the ASUS EeePC. It has a solid state hard drive and was much smaller to work with. Lately, I have noticed that there are more smaller laptops for sale in the market place.
Please do not go by price only when buying a computer. Do a little research first and talk with the people you know and respect. This will give you a good start at getting information you need to buy the computer that will fit your needs. Then you can buy with confidence; knowing that you are prepared for the future.
